Welcome to Human Resources

The Human Resources Office is a division of County Administration. Our staff manages and coordinates several programs and services for County Departments, Employees and Applicants. We value those we serve and in fulfilling our responsibilities, we are committed to delivering courteous, efficient and responsive service.

Services we provide to our customers include:

Employee Records: The Human Resources Department maintains all employment/personnel records and files, which is also managed by an information system.

Benefits: The County offers a generous menu of fringe benefits which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), Local Government Retirement, long term disability, flexible spending and other optional benefits.

Training: The Human Resources Department provides assessment of training needs for various departments and coordination of training enhancement programs.

Safety: Human Resources assists in evaluating workers compensation accidents, administering the workers compensation program and other support to enhance workplace safety.

Employment: Assists in the coordination of performance appraisal program, grievance procedures and other employment matters. Keep current on all applicable employment laws.
