Pursuant to General Statutes of North Carolina, Section 143-129 as amended, sealed bids will be received for the following: One new 20'A-Boom Articulated Boom Mower.

Bids will be received by the County of Brunswick at 3:00 p.m., on June 5, 2008 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Office of the Assistant County Manager, Administration Building (Building E), Bolivia, North Carolina.

Specifications may be obtained from Mr. Steve Stone, Assistant County Manager, 45 Courthouse Drive, NE, (Post Office Box 249), Bolivia, North Carolina 28422, 910-253-2000 or from this website. No proposal will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing the same shall be accompanied by a deposit in cash, cashier's check or a certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal. In lieu of making the cash deposit as above provided, such bidder may file a bid bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds, all bid bonds, and deposits. The County of Brunswick reserved the right to reject any and all bids.
